Annoyed at the entrance:
Guard: Sir, paki-iwan yan diyan (says with a stern look, pointing at the dog-eared book I have under my arm).
Me: Pupunta lang akong Starbucks.
Guard: Magpaalam kayo sa customer service.
Me: (shakes head, goes straight to Starbucks to avoid further annoyance).
Annoyed at the Check-out counter:
Me: Do you have a press discount?
Cashier: ...huh?
Me: Do you have a press discount?
Store supervisor: Hindi pwede 'pag magazines. Wala. Walang ininform. Anong name?
Me: (states name)
Store supervisor: Hindi kami nagbibigay 'pag walang ininform. Sinong contact mo? Hindi kasi ininform.
Me: Okay, I was just asking...
